Content and Recording Guidelines

  • Set the camera at eye level (or a little higher)
  • Keep the camera steady
  • Look directly at the camera
  • Keep the background simple and free of movement
  • Choose a space that’s well-lit, ideally with natural light
  • Make sure lighting is facing the subject, not behind them
  • Choose a space free of other sounds (no kids, pets or music)
  • Plan a script beforehand, even if it’s just talking points or an outline
