This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Schwinn®, Pacific Cycle, or any parent, affiliate, or related entity.

Any use of the Schwinn® trademark is for identification purposes only.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting any photo, video, written story, memory, or other content (“Submission”) through theschwinndocumentary.com or any affiliated upload form, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree, do not submit.

2. Free Entry / No Purchase Necessary

The Contest is free to enter. No purchase is necessary to participate or to win.

A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

3. Eligibility

To participate, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Submit content you fully own or control
  • Grant all required rights described below
  • Reside in a jurisdiction where such contests are legally permitted

Void where prohibited.

The following individuals are not eligible to enter:

  • Employees, officers, contractors, or representatives of Schwinn Doc LLC, the documentary, or any third-party vendors retained for this Contest
  • Immediate family members of the above

Only one (1) entry per person is permitted.

4. Ownership and Submission Requirements

By submitting a Submission, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the lawful owner of the Submission
  • All individuals depicted have provided consent, or the image is of yourself or your family from your personal collection
  • The Submission does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, or third-party rights
  • The Submission does not include AI-generated or AI-altered content
  • The Submission has not been materially manipulated beyond basic photographic corrections

Permitted edits include:

Exposure, color correction, contrast, white balance, grain, crop, saturation, and film-style tonal adjustments.

Not permitted:

Digital manipulation, generated elements, added or removed objects except safety blurring, compositing, AI tools, or any alteration that changes the factual nature of the content.

The Company reserves the right to disqualify or remove any Submission that violates these requirements.

5. Rights Granted (License and Release)

By submitting a Submission, you grant Schwinn Doc LLC a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and assignable license to use the Submission across all media, including marketing, publicity, and film distribution, without compensation.

This includes the right to:

  • Use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and publicly perform the Submission
  • Use your name, likeness, and story in connection with the Submission
  • Incorporate the Submission into the documentary film NO HANDS: The Wild Ride of the Schwinn Bicycle Company
  • Use the Submission in promotional materials, advertising, social media, festivals, theatrical exhibition, streaming, broadcast, home entertainment, educational use, and future related projects

You waive any right to:

  • Inspect or approve use
  • Receive payment or royalties
  • Attribution or credit
  • Withdraw consent after submission

6. Use of Submissions

The Company may:

  • Feature selected Submissions in marketing or promotional materials
  • Share Submissions across Company-owned platforms
  • Use Submissions in or around the documentary, including sequels or companion media
  • Archive and store Submissions indefinitely

By submitting, you expressly authorize use across all media now known or later developed.

7. Raffle and Prize Details

Each eligible Submission automatically enters the giveaway.

Prizes include:

  • 1st Place: A verified vintage Schwinn® bicycle
  • 2nd, 3rd, 4th Places: Physical hardcover books signed by the authors
  • 5th through 10th Places: Digital editions of the book

Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and have no cash value.

For prizes valued at $600 or more, winners may be required to provide tax information and are responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes.

The Company reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the giveaway if necessary.

8. Release of Liability

You release and hold harmless Schwinn Doc LLC, its officers, directors, partners, employees, agents, distributors, successors, and assigns from any claims arising out of:

  • Use of your Submission
  • Third-party misuse
  • Editing or publication
  • Public distribution
  • Inclusion in the documentary or related materials

You agree to indemnify the Company against any claims resulting from breach of your representations.

9. Content Review and Disqualification

The Company may remove or disqualify any Submission that:

  • Violates copyright or other laws
  • Is defamatory, obscene, or unlawful
  • Contains AI manipulation
  • Includes unresolved third-party rights
  • Is misleading or materially altered

All decisions are final.

10. Social Media Platform Disclaimer

This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, TikTok, or any social media platform.

Participants release all such platforms from any liability related to this Contest.

11. Governing Law

This Contest is administered by Schwinn Doc LLC, a Colorado limited liability company.
